Using colposcopy database searches, a retrospective, multicenter study was conducted, enrolling 5854 patients. Cases were randomly allocated to a training subset for model development or to an internal validation subset for performance assessment and comparative analysis. The methodology involved using Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (LASSO) regression to winnow the pool of potential predictors and choose only the statistically significant factors. Multivariable logistic regression was subsequently employed to create a predictive model that produces risk scores for the development of HSIL+.
